Dr. Walter Lemmo is a board certified Naturopathic Physician in the province of British Columbia, a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) in the United States and a board certified Naturopathic Oncologist. He is a former graduate of Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, one of the leading Naturopathic medical schools in North America which highlights integrative medical care.

Before entering naturopathic medicine, Dr. Lemmo received his undergraduate education in Biotechnology at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and in Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. Dr. Lemmo is past Chair (president) for the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Naturopathic Foundation. He is a member of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia, the British Columbia Naturopathic Association, the American Academy of Neural Therapy, and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

He is a frequent guest on numerous health, radio & television programs throughout Canada and the United States and he has been published in several magazines including the Alive magazine, Townsend Letter for Doctor's & Patient's, and the British Columbia Naturopathic Association. While Dr. Lemmo has diverse interest and knowledge in numerous medical fields, at this time, he is commonly sought out for his expertise in the area of cancer.

In addition to Dr Lemmo's private practice, he provides naturopathic medical care at Canada's only partially-government-subsidized medical centre that specializes in integrative cancer care in Vancouver. Dr. Lemmo believes in combining the best of complementary and alternative medical approaches along with the best of oncology medicine in caring for people with cancer (i.e. together more commonly referred to as Integrative Cancer Care). He works together as part of a team with all healthcare providers, family physicians, and oncologists. Dr. Lemmo strives to provide compassionate and clear information on the numerous approaches, treatments and methods of testing available for each person since these subjects can be overwhelming to both patients and concerned family and friends.

Consequently, at this time, Dr. Lemmo is devoting most of his time and practice focus for patients with cancer and their families and support network.
