Dr. Lemmo believes that continuous, proper long term support is critical for recovery especially during the beginning stages of treatment. Consequently, he has established relationships with a private residential facility that supports Dr. Lemmo's naturopathic medical care along side standard treatment approaches in a beautiful, compassionate, and serene environment found simply 40 minutes outside of Vancouver, British Columbia.

This facility is the only residential addiction recovery centre in North America where people can receive naturopathic & orthomolecular medical care along side a conventional residential treatment program (i.e. 12 Step Recovery) for addiction recovery. In addition, the centre provides people with nutritious foods, an exercise facility, comfortable & private living quarters, all situated in a beautiful island community.

During the recovery process patients are advised on suitable diets, exercise programs, supplements and detoxification programs which are targeted to aid in the detoxification & recovery process. All treatments are tailor to each person. Counselling & support services are available throughout a persons stay at the treatment centre to help with the very important emotional & spiritual aspects of the healing process. Patients will have 24/7 support provided by support staff, and 24-hour on-call naturopathic care.

What Happens in the Initial Visit?

Initially patients will need to be evaluated by Dr. Lemmo at his private office in Vancouver. He will spend an hour and a half with each patient. Hair sample, blood, urine, saliva testing, a physical examination, and specific questionnaire will also be needed to help determine an individuals personalized treatment program and to also evaluate a persons health status. Most patients will need to receive a series of Dr. Lemmo's customized intravenous nutrients to assist in both the detoxification process and to help restore the body of important vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. All treatments are tailored to each case and are based on the experience & expertise of Dr. Lemmo. Follow up personal care is continued at the residential (in-patient) treatment centre.
