My cancer is rare and incurable, yet Dr. Lemmo never seems to give up the hope that I will completely recover.

When I first came to Dr. Lemmo he paid very special attention to my background. His questions were piercing and thorough and when he presented a treatment plan to me I felt it was a decision we made together. Unlike the more common conventional practitioners, Dr. Lemmo took the time with me that was needed to reach conclusions, and I believe his listening skills are superb.

My health has improved enormously and in some ways I am healthier than I was previously! I have regular intravenous Vitamin C treatments, and take a variety of supplements to a maintain a steady level of wellness and on the occasions when I have needed extra attention, such as before and after surgeries, he has added more unique medicines to my IV injections, and adjusted my supplement intake to accommodate my special needs. I think the greatest benefit to my recovery has been a confidence that I will heal which I attribute to Dr. Lemmo's commitment to his craft. In being dedicated, he has endowed me with faith…in his expertise, but also in myself. My attitude towards my recovery is positive because Dr. Lemmo respects me enough to include me in the healing process. He treats me as an individual and fully discloses his thoughts and opinions about my situation. This is such great value to me, for I am empowered in this healing process to participate, rather than handing myself over and treated by a protocol, which may or may not apply to me as an individual.

If every patient with cancer had Dr. Lemmo looking out for them, "fear" would be a thing of the past!

Dr. Walter Lemmo is a very personable and well informed man. He seems to have no peer here in Vancouver when it comes to knowledge about mental illness and nutrition.

Under his supervision I have been able to reduce my psychiatric medication (a major tranquilizer) by more than ¼, something, which I had been unable to do before I started on his regimen of nutrients. I fell considerably better as a result of this. I have also been following a diet, which addresses hypoglycemia. I have quit drinking alcohol, which I used to drink a considerable amount of and recently quit smoking as well. I have also lost 15 lbs.

I am happy I found Dr. Walter Lemmo. I say found because I had been searching for a Doctor who did Prolotherapy. I was getting this treatment from a Doctor who had a long waiting list and I wanted to tell friends about this treatment and also what doctors might be available.

On the day of my consulation I was ill but kept the appointment and asked if he would give me something to make me feel better. He gave me a treatment called a "PUSH" which took care of that problem.

I was also looking for a Doctor who would give me IV treatments for my eye. I had done a great deal of research and found there were doctors in the United States doing this. I had lost the vision in one eye due to surgeries and was told there was no help for the remaining eye.My goal is to hold what vision I have. Doctor Lemmo is trained in this procedure and he is doing what he can to help me acheive my goal. I am convinced this would be helpful for anyone who has just been told they have an eye disease or better still as a preventive.
