Healthful nutrition in cancer care should be considered a fundamental platform for every patient. When the body is optimally supported in this regard, people tend to do much better in whichever program or path they follow in their cancer treatment journey.
For example, we have observed reduced treatment delays with chemotherapy due to appropriate nutritional support. There is a growing body of research to suggest that for some cancers good quality nutrition may be as important as treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy for enhancing treatment response, decreasing recurrence risk and increasing survival.
At LEMMO Integrated Cancer Care Inc., we provide a customized nutritional program for each patient which can be safely incorporated at any stage of a person’s cancer treatment. We can also provide patients with home-based programs via our comprehensive networks if needed.
