This case report published January 2026 describes an elderly patient with extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer who achieved a near-complete thoracic radiologic remission after combined chemo-immunotherapy, chest and brain radiation, and high-dose vitamin C 3000 mg and vitamin B3 – nicotinamide 3000mg per day used throughout the conventional treatments. The authors speculate could the additional two vitamins helped the patient in a therapeutic synergy – to help enhance the responses?
